Counselling experiences can vary greatly depending on the individual and their goals, but generally, the process involves creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where the person can explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In a typical counselling session, the counsellor listens actively, asks open-ended questions, and helps guide the person through understanding their feelings and experiences. It's a collaborative process aimed at providing support, increasing self-awareness, and developing coping strategies for any challenges the individual is facing.

For some, counselling can be a place for personal growth, where they learn more about themselves, work through past trauma, or gain clarity on their future direction. For others, it may be more focused on managing mental health conditions like anxiety or depression, improving relationships, or coping with life transitions.

The therapeutic relationship itself is often seen as central to the experience, with trust and empathy being key elements in making the process effective. People often describe counselling as both challenging and rewarding, as it can require vulnerability and introspection but can lead to significant personal insights and emotional relief.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "universal" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

Reiki practitioners act as a middle ground between you and energy forces. Energy travels from their hands to you, and more specifically the areas of focus. During a session, you would take only the energy flow that you need.
